Five months ago at SAP Sapphire, SAP introduced the Autonomous Enterprise as a vision. At SAP Connect 2026 in Las Vegas (October 5–7), it became something you could touch. The Mygo Consulting team spent the week in hands-on labs, building agents, competing in the Partner AI Agent Showdown and meeting customers from mid-market companies to the Fortune 500. Here is what we saw, what we built and what we think it means for SAP customers planning their next steps.

"AI agents don't create value on their own. The value comes from pairing them with clean data, sound processes and people who truly understand the business. That has always been Mygo's strength, and SAP Connect made it clear our customers are ready to move from pilots to real results. We intend to be the partner that gets them there." — Satish Sharma, VP of Operations, Mygo Consulting

The big picture: AI moves from answering to doing

SAP's message this year was simple: the Autonomous Enterprise has moved from roadmap to rollout. The headline announcements:

• SAP Autonomous Suite. AI assistants and agents across finance, spend, supply chain, HR and customer experience. Novartis, Nestlé and PwC shared their experience on stage. It was very interesting to see the deep interest in leveraging AI to reimagine processes across all verticals and market segments.

• Joule Work. SAP began rolling out Joule Work, its new AI workspace where employees ask for work in plain language. It is exciting to see an all new User experience that can change how end users interact with SAP. Simplicity, Automation, insights and governance in one place. We cannot ask for more.

• SAP Pay. Payment execution and reconciliation built directly into Cloud ERP. It is an interesting offering from SAP without much brouhaha. SAP had the wiring for payment gateways for decades. With the addition of SAP Pay, the picture is now complete.

• SAP Reltio. Joins SAP Business Data Cloud to merge duplicate customer, supplier and product records into trusted data for AI. While we heard about this in Sapphire, it was not very clear how it fits into picture. At SAP connect, we got a clear picture how SAP is thinking beyond SAP solutions and help customers simplify their end to end solutions with ease.

• Next-Gen Ariba. SAP's AI-native procurement suite, generally available since March 2026, with roadmap and transition sessions for existing customers. Ariba that supports personalization and customization has been on table for so long. It is good to see some push and adoption in the market.

Across all of it, SAP leaned on three themes: governance, business context and openness to non-SAP systems.

A global milestone for Mygo

The week also brought global recognition: our AI product - PSA, Mygo's Production Material Assurance Agent for SAP EWM, secured place in Global Top 5. "An exciting milestone for Mygo and our innovation journey." — Celica Suryabara, VP of Sales, Mygo Consulting

Conversations that matter: customers and partners

SAP Connect is where plans become real conversations. Our team met customers from mid-market businesses to Fortune 500 companies to discuss their priorities and where Mygo can help.\ We also connected with many partners to explore cross-selling and 360-degree relationships across joint sales, delivery and innovation.

"SAP's focus on embedded AI and autonomous business processes reinforces the opportunity to combine our SAP expertise with AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes." — Celica Suryabara, VP of Sales, Mygo Consulting

Hands-on: AI agents for Spend, Finance and Supply Chain

For our team, the most valuable part of the week was getting hands-on with the technology, not just watching demos. AI assistants and agents, including SAP's Joule assistants, are now real in Spend, Finance and Supply Chain, with strong use cases in Manufacturing and Maintenance.

"In the hands-on sessions I tried out the Requisition Assistant, Buyer Assistant, Quality Certificate agent and more, and talking face to face with the product owners and SMEs made it even better." — Huseni Kapasi, VP of Revenue Growth & BD, Mygo Consulting

His verdict: a lot is already available, and the roadmaps look great.

Partner AI Agent Showdown

Mygo was one of five finalists in the SCM Partner AI Agent Showdown, alongside LeverX, Bristlecone, Syntax and Wipro. Each partner showed AI agents built for real work in Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations and Maintenance. Our VP of innovations Raghav Nookala presented the product at SAP Connect.

"Presenting our AI product on a global stage, and seeing it recognized, shows what's possible when deep SAP expertise meets practical AI. We built it to solve real problems for our customers, and this is only the beginning. Mygo’s technology prowess and deep supply chain domain knowledge was very much appreciated." — Raghav Nookala, VP of Digital Transformation, Mygo Consulting

From Manufacturing Challenges to AI Innovation

Mygo's Production Material Assurance Agent (My PSA AI) was developed to address real-world manufacturing challenges, particularly material shortages that can disrupt production schedules. The solution proactively identifies potential shortages, checks available inventory, and supports corrective actions before they affect manufacturing operations.

"Being part of the team that developed My PSA AI and seeing our solution recognized among the global Top 5 finalists at SAP Connect was a significant milestone. As one of the product development owners, I have focused on translating real-world manufacturing and supply chain challenges into practical AI-driven solutions. Our goal is to help customers move from reactive issue resolution to proactive material assurance, improving production continuity and operational functionality. It was also a great opportunity to meet Christian Klein, CEO of SAP, in person. Connecting with SAP's leadership and experiencing the latest innovations firsthand made SAP Connect 2026 even more memorable.” — Varun Kumar Reddy Gaddam, Supply Chain COE, Product Owner, Mygo Consulting

Next-Gen Ariba: heading in the right direction

For procurement teams, Next-Gen Ariba was one of the most important stories of the event. It has been generally available since March 2026, and Connect sessions covered its roadmap and the transition plan for existing Ariba customers.

"Next-Gen Ariba has come a long way. The interface is intuitive and promising. It's still evolving but clearly heading in the right direction." — Dean Jackson, VP of Strategic Partnerships & Enablement, Mygo Consulting

One related announcement to watch: SAP is bringing Moody's supplier risk data into SAP Ariba, giving buyers current insight into supplier financial health and risk.

Beyond the sessions

The week wasn't all keynotes and labs. The celebration night brought the SAP community together outside of business discussions. "It added to the overall experience and provided more opportunities to connect with people." — Pooja Gupta, Strategic Sales Executive, Mygo Consulting

What this means for SAP customers

The Autonomous Enterprise is real, but getting value from it takes preparation. From our conversations in Las Vegas, these are the questions we would start with:

• What is available now, and what is coming? Some capabilities are live today, while many assistants and agents roll out through Q4 2026 and into 2027. Plan your roadmap around real availability dates.

• Is your data ready? Agents are only as good as the data and processes beneath them. Clean master data and a clean core come first.

• Are your systems connected? AI agents promise to work across SAP and non-SAP systems. That depends on solid integration underneath.

• Who stays in control? Decide where agents can act on their own and where people approve, before you switch them on.

• Where is the quickest win? Start with a focused use case, such as a requisition, sourcing or quality certificate process, and measure the outcome.

Ready to put AI agents to work? Mygo Consulting combines deep SAP expertise with hands-on AI agent development across Spend, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Maintenance. Contact our team to explore where autonomous processes can deliver value for your business.
